TO ALL CHILDREN, PARENTS AND CARERS

Welcome to our kidZone newsletter. Thank you for all your donations for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal. We were able to fill 5 boxes with gifts and essential items. Also thank you to those made up and sent in your own boxes as well. They will shortly be on their journey to the children and hopefully I will be able to report further to you in the New Year.

We will finish this term on 13 December with a joint Christmas party for both groups in the Rider Hall. Let’s hope it will not be as cold as last year! The Discoverers are also invited to the ViE* Christmas party on 20 December.

Please note that both these parties will begin at 10am.

It is with sadness that I have to announce that Issie, Heather, Tom and Jamie will no longer be coming to kidZone and St Andrew’s after Christmas. As you may know the family lives in Newick and through the success of the J and Me Club at Newick School and a recently held holiday club, Issie has been asked to help establish a Sunday school at the local church. This is fantastic news. We will certainly miss them all and thank Issie especially for all the work she has done for St Andrew’s.
