About us:
We are a modern, friendly, welcoming Church with a mixture of informal family and youth led services as well as traditional services of the Church of England.

The Diary page has a list of our services this month, and our News page has a list of events and items of interest for May & June, including a letter from Georgie Kargbo in Sierra Leone, who we support as one of our overseas link partners, and for whom we are held a successful 'Bring and Buy' sale on 10th May.

Sunday morning services:
9.00 am - Holy Communion most weeks, Morning Prayer on 5th Sunday's,
10.30 am - less formal worship with creche facilities. Also groups run for 3-10's (Skyriders) and 11-18's (ViE*), except on the first Sunday - see below.

New service:
We have also started 2008 with a new service on the first Sunday of every month at 4pm, called feast@4. We hope that this new time will be helpful to those who are unable to come to morning services. There are usually activities for the 3 to 10 and 11 to 18 year groups.
The next one is on June 1st at ......4pm.

Visiting us:
We have limited on site parking with a few spaces in the Rider Hall car park in Cants Lane, otherwise please park considerately on the OPPOSITE side of Junction Road (by the allotments).
Click here for a map showing where we are.

OUR VISION IS FOR A CHURCH THAT:

  • Is warm welcoming and accessible.

  • Draws people to faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Is open in daylight hours.

  • Throws its doors open to young people (those 19 and under).

  • Enables young people to connect with God and get excited about Jesus.

  • Encourages young adults and families to be part of a growing Christian community.

  • Engages with the issues of the day and strengthens them to live their lives in a network society.

A PRAYER:

The arm of God be about you,
The way of Christ guide you,
The strength of the Spirit support you.
God be with you on the smooth paths;
Christ be with you in the storms;
The Spirit be with you at all times.
